#Minecraft Birthday Cake

A minecraft cake that was THAT good to make THIS expression! You have to see this cake!

This is the expression on my little boy's face when he saw his Minecraft birthday cake for the first time.  I love it.  It's all the reward I need but it doesn't stop there.  He was so appreciative that he is STILL thanking me constantly for his cake.  You know how us allergy moms talk about others who "get it" when it comes to allergies?  Well, my little guy "gets" how hard I work to make his birthday cake special.  He also understands that there was no way I could have done it alone this year.  It melted my heart that he recognized all the hard work that my Mom put in this past week to help me make his cake.  Thanks, Mom!!!!

Microwave SunButter Clouds

I was in a pretty bad accident a little over a month ago that landed me in the hospital for a week.  The nurses that took care of me were phenomenal!  One nurse in particular brought in a chocolate peanut butter snack that she shared with us.  It was the first time I'd had peanut butter in quite a long time and boy was it gooooood!  She shared the recipe with me and I think I was most happy that it was sooooo easy to make!  It only has three ingredients and doesn't require an oven!  It sounded like just the type of recipe I would need once I recovered enough to "bake" again, which is just what happened yesterday.  Of course I didn't use peanut butter, I substituted with SunButter and the result was amazing!

Microwave SunButter Clouds, only three ingredients! Chocolate, SunButter, and Marshmallows! SOOOO easy! I have to try this!

Freedom Foods Comes to the US

I was recently contacted by the CEO of Freedom Foods North America asking if I would be interested in some of their cereals.  I did a quick google check (I hadn't yet heard of this company) and boy oh boy did I LOVE what I saw!

No-Bake Berry Peach Pie

We LOVE to go camping!  So when our campground decided to have a pie eating contest I knew just what I had to do...create a delicious allergy-friendly pie that my little man would want to gobble up quickly!  Little did I know that I too would get suckered into entering the contest!  YIKES!

Allergy-Friendly Easter Desserts

One of the greatest things about starting a blog three years ago is that it keeps track of all the things I've done for holidays.  Now, I can just search "Easter" and like magic, I have two great desserts that I can make for the holiday and good reminder for a healthy treat to bring along to the party!
